This is an educational blog. I use these "speeches" in my classroom with my middle school Social Studies classes. I find that it helps students take sometimes dry History lessons and connect them to their everyday life.

Jeff Campbell: I am a Middle school teacher and I teach Social Studies. Every year during class I use the Social Studies curriculum to also teach Character Education. Every year there are certain things that my students have labeled "Mr. C's" lectures or speeches. It is always a discussion point for current and former students. So, after at least 2 years of thinking about blogging, I am actually starting a blog based on my classroom speeches.
